Plain Sailing

Plain Sailing offer an ideal opportunity to experience the pleasures and possible challenges that sailing luxury yachts has to offer. Your sailing experience can be for just a day or perhaps longer and departures are organised from Brixham, Dartmouth or Torquay.

At Plain Sailing you will be given the opportunity of being at the helm, hoisting the sails and working the winches of a yacht crewed by willing hands or by your own family and friends. No experience is necessary,  Life Jackets, Harnesses and waterproofs are all provided. All you need to bring is a sense of fun and enthusiasm.

Jib Set Marine

Jib-Set Marine is ideally located on Beacon Quay in the heart of Torquay, a short drive or stroll from The Heritage Hotel. Water-sports tuition is available from May until September each year offering the following water based activities:

Dartmouth Boat Hire 

Whether you would like a boat for the day, hour or week, Dartmouth Boat Hire have a boat that will suit your needs. You can hire cabin and open boats with some of the larger ones accomodating 2 families at great value for money.

Torbay and Dartmouth Powerboat School

Torbay and Dartmouth Powerboat School has been established for over 7 years and is ideally based in Torbay. This location, even on the Level 2 powerboat courses, enables you to visit other harbours.

Specialising in Powerboat training the full time training centre runs courses all year round - 7 days a week when necessary. Courses are provided for the complete novice right up to the experienced Powerboat helmsman and Advanced Powerboat Instructor.
